For Starlink, think in hours of internet uptime. Add router, laptop, monitor and phones if the setup must support work, calls or streaming during outages.
- Starlink plus router can run for many hours on a correctly sized portable station.
- If you add laptops, monitors or cameras, calculate the full work setup rather than Starlink alone.
- For field work, choose a station with useful ports, fast charging and enough reserve for the return trip.
